Stuff like this is why I hate driving in Pittsburgh. Parking is twice as expensive as it says in the article, $1 for 30 minutes at a meter. And they are very predatory with towing and ticketing as well. One time I saw a cop shoving a guy away from his car so the tow truck driver could tow it away, and considering the fleet of tow trucks you always see exiting downtown around 4 or 5 in the evening, that can't be an isolated occurrence. |
