doesn't block it.
Stuff like this is why I hate driving in Pittsburgh. Parking is twice as expensive as it says in the article, $1 for 30 minutes at a meter. And they are very predatory with towing and ticketing as well. One time I saw a cop shoving a guy away from his car so the tow truck driver could tow it away, and considering the fleet of tow trucks you always see exiting downtown around 4 or 5 in the evening, that can't be an isolated occurrence.

Natal uses a stereo camera rather than a single one. Stereo cameras are capable of producing a depth map that shows how far away things are from the camera by interpreting the difference between the left and right cameras. Not sure about Natal's camera, but many stereo cameras do this processing onboard using a processor in the device. This depth image is really what Natal will use to add the third dimension of movement, something the eye toy could not do.
Good Programmers = Good Problem SolversWhen I took Computer Science (1993-1997) the first class ... you HAD to take this one kind of class. Was pretty much all about problem solving. We wrote stuff in Lisp and learned recursion and did more recursion. This class was definitely a "weed out the weeklings" sort of class. But it made sense. So many people chose computer science as their major (this is in the 90s as I said) because their parents told them to "take computers" and "computers are good to get into"I know a lot of programmers who did not go to college and take these kind of classes and they are definitely not as good programmers as those who did. They do not pick up new languages as fast and they did not learn the fine art of:* Making a big problem into smaller manageable onesThis kind of thing will NEVER make sense to most people... and that's why they have these classes..For instancefunction CountNodes(n:node) if n = null return; return 1 + CountNodes(n.next)end functionand how: return(min(min(3, 10), 7) will get you 3
