Why are people putting so much emphasis on the fact that the victims were military personnel? It's not like a GI walks around base all day in full battle rattle and armed to the teeth. Stateside the only people with firearms on base are MPs. Overseas every one is armed because it's an active combat zone.Edit: It also was a med center. All firearms are prohibited on the premises unless performing duties specifically related to law enforcement. I'm still wondering what the heck a civilian cop was doing there in the first place personally.
