Eric Johnson

General Council

Eric joined Eagle in September of 2008. A graduate of Texas Tech University, he received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence in May of 2008. The following November he received his license to practice law in the State of Texas and has since filled the role of Eagle’s General Counsel.

Eric identifies, counsels, and provides advice on an array of miscellaneous legal issues including oil and gas transactions, general contract concerns, intestacy, probate, business entity formation, real estate transactions, business development, title, limited tax issues, and oil and gas lease development. He is heavily involved in lease form review and negotiation, title, title curative, and real property foreclosures. Eric is a member of State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.
